In recent days, the flower and gift market for International Women's Day has begun to become bustling with diverse designs and many different segments for customers to choose from. In contrast to previous holiday seasons, fresh flowers - an indispensable gift on this important holiday - often increased in price, but this year, flower prices have cooled down. All types of flowers have decreased in price compared to previous holidays, the supply of domestic and imported fresh flowers is quite abundant.

In addition to domestic flowers, many shops also import many high-end flowers such as: Ecuadorian roses, Dutch tulips, peonies, etc. to help customers have more choices. The special thing is that the price of fresh flowers is quite cheap.

Compared to previous years, the price of flowers for this holiday is only 50%. You only need 70,000 - 100,000 VND to have a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a vase; for a basket or a vase with elaborate arrangements, the price ranges from 250,000 VND to a million VND.

Flowers are cheap, fresh and beautiful so they are chosen by many people. Especially popular flowers such as: foxglove, orchid, red carnation... are bought by many people to arrange and give to each other on holidays.

“This year’s March 8 holiday season, fresh flowers are cheap, so the number of customers buying flowers has increased. In the past 3 days (March 4, 5, 6), the shop alone has sold thousands of bouquets of all kinds of flowers,” said Ms. Le Thu Hien, owner of a fresh flower shop on Tan Phuc Street.

Equally popular are gift baskets combining imported fruits and fresh flowers. A fruit basket (grapes, pears, tangerines, strawberries, cherries...) with lisianthus or ranunculus, roses skillfully arranged, decorated with beautiful bows and ribbons, priced from 300,000 VND or more, is chosen by many people as a gift for International Women's Day.

“Fruit baskets are usually bought by parents and students as gifts for teachers; agencies and businesses buy them as gifts for partners and customers. The prices of imported fruits are stable this year, you only need to spend about 300,000 - 500,000 VND to have a beautiful, practical gift. On this holiday, our store sells an average of 50-70 baskets per day,” said Ms. Phuong Mai, owner of an imported fruit shop on Truong Van Linh Street (Vinh City).

No less exciting are gift items for women: cosmetics, fashion, shoes, etc. To attract customers, gift shops, shopping malls, fashion brands, and supermarkets also introduce many beauty and body care product sets at affordable prices for consumers to choose from.

Along with that are promotional programs and discounts to attract customers. For example, the programs "For the women I love", "Her month", "Spreading fragrance" ... of supermarkets and brands are implementing promotions with the same price, shocking discounts on products for women: Facial cleanser, makeup remover, shampoo, sunscreen products ...

In addition, cosmetic stores also offer reasonable and attractive promotions such as giving away cards or small product samples to try. To make the gift more attractive and meaningful, many stores even design their own products with fancy bows or cute gift boxes.
