Specifically, the coffee price today in Dak Lak is 128,000 VND/kg, the coffee price in Lam Dong is 127,200 VND/kg, the coffee price in Gia Lai is 128,000 VND/kg and the coffee price in Dak Nong today is only 128,200 VND/kg.

Domestic coffee price list updated at 4:30 a.m. on February 5, 2025 |
As of this morning, domestic coffee prices have dropped sharply by VND2,500/kg, losing the VND130,000/kg mark set in the previous trading session. This decline has created many concerns among investors and farmers about whether coffee prices will continue to fall or if this is just a temporary decline before setting new historical price levels.
Before the coffee trading session on the London floor earlier this week, many Vietnamese farmers decided to sell their coffee at VND130,000/kg. They felt that this was a reasonable price to recover cash and ensure safety for production activities.
Coffee market experts said that in the last trading session, financial investors sold coffee right from the start, leading to a downward trend in prices, not an increase. Moreover, Vietnamese farmers aggressively sold coffee on New Year's Day, creating a wave of profit-taking on the market.
Meanwhile, a major Brazilian coffee exporter has forecast that the country’s Robusta coffee output will increase by 24.6% next season to around 23.3 million bags (nearly 1.4 million tons). This figure will surpass Vietnam’s export output in 2024, estimated at 1.34 million tons.
However, it should be noted that Brazilian Robusta, also known as Conilon, is of much lower quality than Vietnamese Robusta. Most Conilon coffee is consumed domestically, while the export volume of this type of coffee is still very low.
