Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) Pham Hong Phuong has just directly inspected the construction status of packages 8, 9, 10 of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project, the section passing through Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces.
Through on-site inspection, the Deputy General Director of EVN noted that some contractors have brought the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "3 shifts, 4 shifts" and valuable lessons learned from the 500kV line circuit 3 project, to implement this project with the highest determination.
EVN leaders requested contractors to continue to mobilize more human resources, arrange more machinery and equipment; and deploy simultaneously at foundation locations.
Specifically, for the implementation of package No. 8, the Viet A contractor must mobilize enough excavators in March to simultaneously construct 24 foundation locations. For package No. 9, the PCC1 Ninh Binh contractor urgently added manpower to make steel and construct at locations where the foundations had been dug, and worked with partners to pour concrete at qualified foundations.
For package 10, Song Da 5 contractor is required to mobilize 22 teams to work at 22 locations in the last week of March.
EVN Deputy General Director also directed the supervision consultant to promptly accept the transition, closely monitor the construction situation and developments at the construction site to promptly urge.
Power Project Management Board 1 continues to closely manage the project, simultaneously implementing solutions to ensure progress and quality of the project.
At a recent meeting to deploy the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai-Vinh Yen transmission line project, EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An emphasized the extremely urgent nature of the 500kV Lao Cai-Vinh Yen transmission line project. The project was started by the Prime Minister on March 16, with the goal of completing the project before August 31, 2025.
EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An emphasized that the project implementation is expected to face many challenges as the upcoming period will fall into the rainy season, with thunderstorms directly affecting the construction process and equipment transportation...
"Therefore, contractors must take advantage of favorable weather conditions during the dry season to urgently implement work, shorten project progress, avoid arising risks; organize simultaneous and continuous construction at all locations where the site has been handed over, construct 24/7, organize construction immediately upon receiving the site handover, and not leave any location empty. The construction target must continue to be accelerated, by May 15, the foundation casting must be completed at all locations," the Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors requested.
