Today, February 23, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) organized a meeting with artists in the early spring of Giap Thin - 2024. Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang praised and congratulated the efforts of the artists in actively contributing to the overall development of the province in recent times.
To create the best environment for artists to work and produce many valuable works of literature and art, the Provincial Literature and Art Association needs to continue to innovate its content and methods of operation, focus on innovating its organization and staff; fostering and rejuvenating its staff and working mindset, and paying attention to recruiting new members.
Research and absorb the opinions of the artists to gradually improve the quality of literary and artistic works, creating outstanding and timeless works. Participate in composing, widely and effectively promoting festivals and commemorating major holidays of the homeland and country in 2024, especially the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7 (1954 - 2024); Festival for Peace; activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Vinh Linh tradition on August 25 (1954-2024). All levels and sectors need to create favorable conditions for the activities of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the artists in composing.

Closely following the socio-economic development tasks of the province, in 2023, the Literature and Arts Association organized many outstanding and effective activities such as: focusing on reviewing the first half of the term of implementing the Action Program of the Party Delegation of the Association to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 13th Provincial Party Congress.
Pay attention to reviewing and completing the working regulations of the executive committee, standing committee, party committee, specialized departments, inspection committee, and art council to ensure more orderly and effective operations.
Advise the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the songwriting contest about Quang Tri; the 29th North Central Province Art Photography Festival; organize writing camps and foreign affairs activities; scientific seminars; traditional day celebration of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and other specialized sectors.
Many members of the association have also made efforts to create many quality works, clearly reflecting the changes and innovations of their homeland and country.

Regarding the direction and tasks for 2023, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has set out 12 key tasks. In particular, it encourages members and people to participate in the literary and artistic composition contest with the theme: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the period 2023 - 2025 (phase 2). Focus on composing and promoting important holidays and events of the country and homeland.
Continue to coordinate with departments, branches, districts, towns and cities to organize literary and artistic creation camps; coordinate with functional units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations to organize creation camps and professional training for members. Cua Viet Magazine continues to improve the quality of content and form. Focus on implementing the digital transformation strategy and deploying an e-magazine.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with many outstanding achievements in 2023; the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter to 1 individual with outstanding achievements from 2020-2022; and awarded the Quang Tri Provincial Literature and Arts Award in 2023.

The Central Steering Committee for the Award for Composing and Promoting Literary, Artistic and Journalistic Works on the Theme of Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style awarded certificates to the authors who won the contest "Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style" for the period 2021-2023... The Provincial Literature and Arts Association admitted 9 new members and received members to work at the Quang Tri Literature and Arts Association.
