Hope children and grandchildren practice to become more mature
In the light rain, many relatives were present in District 7 to see off their children and grandchildren to their sacred duty to the Fatherland. Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (65 years old, a veteran in Nha Be district) saw off new soldier Nguyen Thanh Nhan, his only grandson, who is performing his military service this year.
Looking at his grandson in navy uniform, Mr. Nam said that when he was young, he and Nhan's father had been in the army. Now it was Nhan's turn, having just graduated from mechanical engineering college, to immediately join the army.
"I hope he has a better environment to train and mature. His family always encourages him to complete his mission well and then when he returns from the army, he will continue to work or go to school with a comfortable spirit," Mr. Nam smiled.
Meanwhile, Ms. Luu Thi Ngoc Ha (53 years old, living in District 4) saw off her only son and could not help but feel sad: "Honestly, at first I was worried when I learned that my son joined the navy, but on the outside I still acted calm to support him mentally and encourage him to try hard. I hope he will grow up and contribute to protecting the Fatherland."
