At around 3:30 p.m., heavy rain and wind poured down on the center of Bien Hoa City and Trang Bom District, many streets such as Dong Khoi, Nguyen Ai Quoc, Bui Trong Nghia... were deeply flooded. At the Dong Khoi Bridge intersection in Trang Dai Ward, the water was more than half a meter deep, almost reaching the wheels, cars and motorbikes stalled in large numbers.

The storm also uprooted and broke many urban trees. Many large tree branches fell, cutting off power lines, telecommunication cables and damaging the roofs of houses and restaurants. "The torrential rain and continuous wind damaged many roofs of fruit stalls and shops in the market," said Mr. Phong, who lives on Dong Khoi Street.
In addition, heavy rain caused water in alleys to flow out, causing deep flooding on many streets in Ward 7, Tan Phong Ward. Some small passenger cars also stalled, waiting for the water to recede so they could be towed away for repairs.

Over the past few days, Dong Nai and some southern provinces have been experiencing heavy rain. Tornadoes and hail have also occurred, damaging crops. The provincial hydrometeorological center said that the rainfall measured in Bien Hoa this afternoon was 62 mm.
