Duc Tri: "Ho Ngoc Ha is very busy but rarely refuses my shows"

Recently, musician Duc Tri announced the live concert Co doi lan - his first solo concert after 29 years of working. The program has the participation of 8 singers including: Ho Ngoc Ha, Ho Quynh Huong, Van Mai Huong, Thuy Chi, Lan Nha, Le Hieu, Trung Quan Idol, Anh Tu.

Talking about inviting Ho Ngoc Ha, musician Duc Tri said she was the first guest he thought of when deciding to do a live concert.

Over many years in her career, Ho Ngoc Ha has always been a successful and impressive singer performing Duc Tri's songs, leaving many emotions in the hearts of the audience.

"Ho Ngoc Ha is very busy but rarely says no to me. When I did a show in Da Lat, Ha also arranged her time to participate. We rarely talk to each other, and don't have many opportunities to meet, but when needed, she is always there. This concert is held on October 5, which is close to my birthday (October 4). At the age of 51, I am very happy to have these precious old friendships," musician Duc Tri confided.

Besides the appearance of Ho Ngoc Ha, the audience is also looking forward to the performances of Ho Quynh Huong, Van Mai Huong, Thuy Chi... in Duc Tri's upcoming music night.

As for Ho Quynh Huong, she is a powerful singer, having many connections with Duc Tri's compositions. Meanwhile, Van Mai Huong is also at the stage of maturity in terms of singing, her way of handling songs is increasingly smooth and intelligent. Thuy Chi has the attraction thanks to her characteristic clear and sweet voice, considered the perfect piece for Duc Tri's music night.

Musician Duc Tri said that in recent years, he feels energetic and happy when having many collaborations with young singers like Anh Tu and Trung Quan Idol.

"For Duc Tri, we have to be happy first before thinking about other things. The young people sing very well, bringing new energy that makes my old songs also have a different energy and color.

"You can't compare whether the old people or the young people sing better. The important thing is that the music must be like that. You can't just let one singer sing one song, there will be many other versions. Audiences of any era will feel and love music according to their own preferences and age," the musician said.

Duc Tri's live concert Co doi lan will take place on October 5 at Military Zone 7 Stadium (HCMC).
