Regarding the case of 191 students of the Soc Trang Drug Rehabilitation Center escaping, on March 20, at the headquarters of the Con Cat Compulsory Education Center (Cu Lao Dung District, Soc Trang), the People's Court of Soc Trang City held a meeting to consider and decide to apply administrative measures to send 47 people to a compulsory education center for a period of 20 - 24 months.

Previously, the Chief of Soc Trang City Police requested the People's Court of Soc Trang City to consider and decide to apply administrative measures to send 47 more students to compulsory education facilities. The reason was that on February 24, 191 students serving the decision at the Soc Trang Drug Rehabilitation Center shouted, broke the door, beat the officers on duty, agitated, and escaped from the facility. This behavior is disturbing public order, according to the provisions of Clause 6, Article 90 of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations.
Drug rehabilitation center students escape case: 90 people sent to compulsory education
Regarding the incident, on March 13, also at Con Cat Compulsory Education Facility, Soc Trang City People's Court held a meeting to consider and decide to apply administrative measures to send 90 students to compulsory education facilities.
The Investigation Police Agency of Soc Trang City has decided to prosecute the case for the acts of: intentionally causing injury; resisting officers on duty; destroying property and disturbing public order in the case of 191 students escaping from a drug rehabilitation facility.
