The 2-day-1-night vacation in Sa Pa for Bac Ninh tourists led by Mr. Nguyen Nhu Duc took place safely and left many beautiful memories for more than 20 members. They are a group of friends doing business in many different fields, coming from many districts in Bac Ninh province, sharing the same hobby of loving nature and conquering mountain peaks across the country. This was not their first time coming to Sa Pa, nor their first time climbing Fansipan, but they were still full of excitement right from the beginning of the journey.

To prepare for the trip, in addition to the essential items like other mountain climbing groups, this time, the group led by Mr. Duc also prepared about 30 large plastic bags to collect trash on the mountain. This received high consensus from all members of the group as soon as the idea was proposed. The person who came up with the idea of "healing" nature - collecting trash from the top of the mountain down was Mr. Nguyen Duc Khanh, from Tu Son, Bac Ninh. With a passion for mountain climbing, the number of mountain peaks that Mr. Khanh has conquered is more than 1 hand. Each trip leaves him with unforgettable memories and impressions, but what always makes him feel pain is the image of trash (water bottles, cake wrappers, candy wrappers...) thrown away by tourists on the grass, under tree holes, on the mountain climbing path...

“We were very excited to participate in the competition to collect trash after climbing Fansipan as soon as the idea was proposed. We hope to spread this activity to raise awareness among tourists about preserving and protecting the environment. The message we want to convey is “Nature is beautiful, for a clean environment, don’t litter!”, said Nguyen Minh The, from Que Vo, Bac Ninh.

The journey to conquer Fansipan peak was difficult and tiring because it was a light rain and cloudy day, but on the return trip, all members of the delegation from Bac Ninh were still very enthusiastic and excited to participate in the trash collection competition. They were surprised at the amount of trash they collected when all the plastic bags they had prepared were full of trash. The team that picked up the most trash and descended the mountain the fastest won, but the joy still contained sadness.

The trash-picking competition of the group of tourists from Bac Ninh has left a good impression on the locals and other tourists when they come to Hoang Lien National Park, because this is the first time a group of tourists has come to Sa Pa to experience and do this. This beautiful action needs to be replicated, because nature also needs to be "healed!" after so much "damage!" due to trash.
