Mr. Dau Ba Quyen Anh (student of Hanoi University of Industry) said: “I was born and raised in Quang Ngai but my parents are from Ha Tinh. After many times of waiting, this is the first time I have returned to my hometown to participate in the Huong Tich Pagoda festival. Immersing myself in the bustling crowd, participating in folk games, enjoying the scenery of the pagoda on the opening day of the festival, I feel extremely excited, joyful and more proud of my hometown's culture”.

Aiming to build an attractive destination, in recent times, Can Loc district together with the Management Board of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area have continuously invested, renovated infrastructure, organized training for tourism staff... Thereby, improving the quality of service for tourists when coming to the ancient temple.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha - Head of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area Management Board said: “Constantly renewing the tourist area based on preserving ancient values, we always aim to bring visitors the experience of discovering the spiritual and cultural values and landscapes of the tourist area. In addition to upgrading the infrastructure, we have built many check-in and sightseeing points, implemented digital transformation in e-ticket sales, enhanced promotion and connection with domestic travel agencies; coordinated with many units to organize training courses to improve the capacity of the service staff at the tourist area. We hope that Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area will be a destination that attracts many visitors in the coming time, not only during the festival season but also at other times of the year”.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, the whole province welcomed nearly 189,000 visitors, an increase of 15% over the same period in 2023.

And on the day of the opening ceremony, Huong Tich Pagoda tourist area witnessed an "explosion" of tourists from all over the world coming to this famous place. According to the Management Board of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area, on January 6 alone, this destination welcomed 6,000 visitors. Thus, including the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, Huong Tich Pagoda has welcomed 25,000 visitors.
Mr. Le Tran Sang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “To prepare for 2024, right from the fourth quarter of 2023, we have planned many action programs to stimulate tourism for the new year. Along with issuing documents guiding localities, areas and tourist destinations to prepare facilities and necessary conditions for the spiritual and cultural tourism season by organizing festivals at the beginning of the year, the department has also encouraged units to strengthen the development of new attractive products, organize training to improve professional skills for tourism workers. In addition, right from the beginning of the year, we conducted famtrip survey groups to learn models from other provinces, promote Ha Tinh tourism in Laos and plan to coordinate in organizing the opening of sea tourism in 2024...”.

Mr. Tran Anh Nam - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Huong Son district said: "With large-scale investment in both breadth and depth, we strive to make the Hai Thuong Lan Ong festival increasingly become a festival that attracts tourists from all over the country. Along with the festival, in 2024, Huong Son will also host a significant event for the province, which is the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac on the occasion of his being honored by UNESCO. Huong Son district has also planned many cultural and sports activities from now until the end of the year around this event.
