Southern region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, some places over 70mm, rain mainly concentrated in the afternoon and night.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
In addition, the cold air mass is currently continuing to move eastward to the south.
Under the influence of cold air moving eastwards, from the night of October 19, winds in the northern East Sea have gradually become stronger.
On October 20, the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6, in the East there are times of level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 3-5m high.
In the middle of the East Sea, the southern East Sea (including the waters of the Truong Sa archipelago), the waters from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand, scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 7-8.
On the night of October 20 and October 21, the northern East Sea (including the waters of Hoang Sa archipelago) had strong winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, and waves 3-5m high.
