These routes not only help maintain law enforcement on fisheries control, protect environmental resources and marine resources, and handle all violations by Vietnamese fishing vessels and civilian vessels and foreign vessels operating in Vietnam's sovereign waters, but also help carry out tasks of fighting to protect sovereignty, sovereign rights and jurisdiction in Vietnam's waters, as well as rescue and support for fishermen participating in marine economic activities.
Before the voyage, the Party Committee and the Squadron Commander thoroughly grasped and assigned specific tasks, and encouraged the officers and staff to prepare for the journey. At the same time, the Squadron organized gift giving and visits to the families of officers and staff in difficult circumstances, helping officers and staff participating in the voyage feel secure when performing their duties.
To ensure safe, thoughtful and effective voyages during Tet, in addition to preparing well in terms of materials, food and provisions for officers and employees on board, it requires Fisheries Control Squadron No. 4 to carefully prepare essential supplies for Tet, and reserve them to be ready to help fishermen at sea, such as food, provisions, fresh water, medicine... when an incident occurs.

In 2024, implementing well the guiding ideology of "Fast mobility, good coordination, rescuing people first, rescuing vehicles later" and the motto of "4 on-site" including: On-site command, on-site forces, on-site vehicles, on-site facilities, with experience, determination, overcoming all difficulties, Fisheries Control Team No. 4 has done a good job of propaganda, helping people exploit and catch seafood at sea in accordance with regulations, not violating the law, and strictly complying with regulations on IUU fishing.
During the year, the entire team had 44 ships participating in rescue operations, rescuing 8 fishing boats from the provinces (Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan) and 67 fishermen, bringing them back to shore to ensure absolute safety.
