On October 28, in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee met with members of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province; Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province; Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; and members of the National Assembly Delegates of Quang Ninh province and Quang Binh province.
Congratulating comrade Vu Dai Thang, who was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, affirmed that comrade Vu Dai Thang is a capable and experienced cadre, having held many positions at the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ha Nam province and Quang Binh province.
He expressed his belief that Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, together with the leadership, people and armed forces in the province, will unite and strive to successfully complete the Resolution of the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and doing a good job of preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that in this new position, he will work with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to continuously strive to bring Quang Ninh to continue to develop, affirm its position in the region and the whole country; worthy of the trust and support of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh.
The comrade acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the National Assembly Delegation, the XV National Assembly Deputies of Quang Ninh Province as well as the previous National Assembly Deputies in performing the role and responsibility of elected representatives. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the delegates of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh Province to continue to enhance the role and responsibility of elected representatives, promptly grasp information, opinions, aspirations and legitimate recommendations of voters to the National Assembly.
At the same time, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies continues to innovate the content and methods of operation in accordance with the law, build good operating regulations to contribute to improving the quality of operations in many fields, demonstrating the role of representing the will and aspirations of the people, truly being a bridge between the National Assembly and voters.
