BIDV Board of Directors participates in dialogue "Journey of Aspiration"
This event is part of the activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; the 67th anniversary of BIDV's traditional day, with the direct participation of more than 500 delegates and more than 12,000 union members participating online. This is an important political activity for the youth of the entire system, and also an opportunity for the Union officials to participate in a direct dialogue forum with the Board of Directors to listen and share about issues of interest to the youth.
Attending the program were comrade Phan Duc Tu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of BIDV Board of Directors; comrade Tran Xuan Hoang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of BIDV Board of Directors; comrade Le Ngoc Lam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of BIDV; comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy General Director in charge of BIDV Youth Union; and comrades in the Board of Directors, Executive Board, representatives of leaders of units at the Head Office and branches.
At the Forum, many issues were raised by the Youth Union members and young people, such as: (1) Proposing initiatives, solutions, and perspectives of the Youth on system issues such as BIDV's development strategy to 2025, vision to 2030, digital transformation strategy, human resource management, corporate culture; (2) Inadequacies, obstacles and proposed solutions to resolve system issues; (3) Proposing mechanisms, policies, and working environment for young staff and BIDV Youth Union staff. Opinions in the forum were exchanged and provided information by BIDV's Board of Directors, partly answering the proposals and aspirations of the youth.
Speaking at the forum, comrade Phan Duc Tu - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV commented: "To build BIDV to develop and become strong is not only the responsibility of BIDV's leaders but also the responsibility of young people, youth union members at BIDV. We need to clearly define the mission, vision, 3 pillars of development: Customers - Digital technology - Corporate culture, people. With 5 core values: Intelligence - Trust - Integrity - Professionalism - Aspiration (iBIDV), along with action programs deployed throughout the system, in 2023 we have developed according to the roadmap, surpassing comprehensively in scale, structure, quality, achieving certain achievements. With the achievements that have been achieved, our responsibility, especially the young generation of BIDV, is to be confident, proud and maintain, further develop from the above achievements and results. We enjoy the results, we also create results".
“Dare to think big, know how to listen, live sincerely, and love to work” are also the four golden words that Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu dedicated to BIDV youth, the next generations who will build BIDV to develop sustainably and prosperously.BIDV
