(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of January 15, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) held a Conference to review the work of the Union and youth movement in 2024.

2024 marks an outstanding year for the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs when it achieved many results and unique marks.
Throughout 2024, in terms of social security activities alone, the youth of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs carried out more than 20 activities with a total gift value of more than 1.6 billion VND. Many trips to remote areas, mountainous provinces to carry out gift giving programs, medical examinations and medicine distribution for people in difficult conditions.

The trips have helped "warm up" more than 2,000 people, leaving a beautiful image of the youth of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in the community. The Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has also launched strong revolutionary action movements, in which the Youth Volunteer Movement has received special attention.
Notably, volunteer programs such as "Drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", organizing medical examinations and providing free medicine for more than 1,000 wounded soldiers, veterans and families of martyrs, with a total value of about 500 million VND.

Propaganda and education work is carried out synchronously with diverse content, contributing to raising political awareness, ideology, patriotic traditions and healthy lifestyles among union members and youth.
In particular, traditional education programs such as visiting people with meritorious services in Dien Bien, Bac Giang, Lao Cai or offering incense at relics commemorating national holidays have made a strong impression.
Activities to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality, including the art program "Orders from the heart" attracting the participation of more than 600 union members, have widely spread good values.

Notably, the Creative Youth and Youth movements to protect the Fatherland were promoted.
The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs' Youth Union has pioneered in applying digital technology such as: managing documents on the eMolisa system, using QR codes to replace printed documents, organizing seminars on artificial intelligence (AI), thereby improving the capacity and awareness of digital transformation among union members.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Hoang Tung - Secretary of the Central Agencies Youth Union, sent his congratulations and commended the outstanding achievements.

The Secretary of the Youth Union of Central Agencies emphasized: "In the past 2 years, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has always been in the group of 12 excellent and leading units of the bloc, demonstrating seriousness, creativity and efficiency in emulation and reward work".
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Tan Dung clarified the importance of innovation and creativity in union work.

He particularly emphasized the role of comprehensively evaluating the results of implementing targets and goals is necessary to accurately determine the next direction, in accordance with the context of the country's strong transformation.
Receiving the instructions and suggestions, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hiep - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs affirmed that the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and emulation efforts to contribute and continue to affirm the role of the youth of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in implementing the political tasks of the ministry and the industry.
