BIDV MetLife wins AmCham CSR Award for the 9th consecutive time

BIDV MetLife continues to be honored at the AmCham CSR Awards 2024 for its outstanding contributions to social responsibility activities. This is the 9th consecutive time in 10 years of operation that the company has received this prestigious award from the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

BIDV MetLife won the AmCham CSR Award for the 9th consecutive time.

Over the past year, BIDV MetLife has implemented practical CSR programs focusing on education with the motto "For the future generation". The typical program "Sending love - Helping teachers go to school" has donated hundreds of millions of VND to 57 schools in Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc with advanced learning equipment and technology, helping to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged students. After Typhoon Yagi, BIDV MetLife supported An Lao High School in Hai Phong to overcome the damage. Also this year, the program "Sending love - Helping teachers go to school" gave gifts to 30 schools in Sa Dec on the occasion of November 20.

BIDV MetLife also supported four non-governmental organizations on the MetLife Foundation list with funding of up to 320,000 USD, the highest funding recipient in the Asia region. In particular, BIDV MetLife accompanied the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition and implemented the She TechFest initiative, promoting women-owned businesses. In addition to CSR programs, the company also cooperated with many organizations, such as giving 2,300 gifts to pediatric patients at the "Children's Festival".
