On the afternoon of October 17, the National Assembly Delegation of the province had a working session with the Quang Ninh Electricity sector to grasp the operation of the units and the work to overcome the consequences after storm No. 3. Attending the working session were delegates: Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Quang Ninh Power Company and thermal power plants in the province have proactively implemented many synchronous solutions to improve the stability of the power system and the operation of generators, contributing to providing safe and stable electricity, promptly serving the requirements of socio-economic development, people's daily needs and political, cultural and festival events in the area. In the first 9 months of the year, Quang Ninh Power Company alone achieved a commercial electricity output of over 5 billion kWh.

At the meeting, Quang Ninh Electricity Company and representatives of thermal power plants in the area reported on the damage situation and the work to overcome the consequences after storm No. 3. At the same time, they proposed to the provincial National Assembly Delegation some contents related to ensuring the safety of the national power grid system, electricity saving solutions and giving opinions on the Draft Law on Electricity (Amended).

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the production and business results of Quang Ninh Electricity Company and thermal power plants in the province in the first 9 months of 2024, especially the efforts of the units in restoring the power grid after storm No. 3. She acknowledged the proposals of the units and affirmed that she would make recommendations to the Central Government to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for the Electricity sector. At the same time, she requested the Electricity sector to continue to make efforts, overcome difficulties, and complete the assigned targets and tasks in the fourth quarter of 2024.
