Investigation into suspected murder of relatives in Song Mao

According to local police, the suspected case of a son murdering his father occurred in Hai Lac village, Hai Ninh commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan (locals call this area Song Mao village).

At noon of the same day, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Province and other professional units examined the scene and performed an autopsy to clarify the death of Mr. Voong Kieng Van (57 years old, residing in Hai Ninh Commune, Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan).

According to initial information, the murder occurred at around 10:20 a.m. on May 26 at the victim’s house in Hai Ninh Commune (Song Mao). At that time, Voong Khanh Venh (27 years old), the biological son of Voong Kieng Van, used a knife to attack his father, causing him to die in front of the house.

The police then arrested Venh, examined the scene, and performed an autopsy to investigate the cause of the murder.

According to some neighbors near the victim's house, Venh has shown signs of mental instability for the past two days. Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Thuan Province is collecting evidence to investigate and clarify the cause of the murder.
