According to initial information, on the evening of December 28, Ms. DTH (67 years old) was at home watching TV when she heard a cry of "Mom, save me" so she ran in to see and saw HTNH (38 years old, Ms. H.'s daughter) lying in front of the bedroom door, with many wounds on her body.
At that time, seeing Nguyen Nhut Minh (about 30 years old; living in Can Tho city and NH's boyfriend) standing next to her daughter, Ms. H. grabbed this person and shouted.
However, Minh struggled and quickly ran away. Mrs. H. chased him for a while but Minh got into his car and escaped. Mrs. H. then returned home and was heartbroken to discover that her daughter had died, so she reported it to the authorities.
