Ao Dai Parade and Yoga Performance at Vietnam Sea and Island Festival

TPO - For the first time, Vung Tau City (Ba Ria-Vung Tau) will organize the Vietnam Sea and Island Festival on a large scale. Interestingly, the program will include a parade of Ao Dai and a Yoga performance attracting more than 2,000 participants.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Ao Dai parade will gather thousands of women in Vung Tau to participate on major roads in Vung Tau City to promote the beauty and culture of Vietnam's sea, as well as raise awareness of sovereignty over islands and protect the marine environment. In particular, the program will also have the participation of 500 young women in colorful Ao Dai, arranged in an S-shape to create a beautiful image of the motherland Vietnam and the image of the two archipelagos of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa.

In addition to the Ao Dai parade, the Organizing Committee also established a Mobile Propaganda Team for Vietnam's Seas and Islands with more than 50 cars decorated with typical images of sea landmarks, along with messages calling for the protection and development of the homeland's seas and islands. The propaganda team will travel along the routes to reach out to people and tourists to propagate and thereby promote the image of the seas and islands, helping people understand and be more proud of Vietnam's seas and islands.

Also within the framework of the Vietnam Sea and Island Festival, the Yoga performance program will attract thousands of members of Yoga Clubs in Vung Tau City and some neighboring localities to perform together, helping viewers better understand Yoga and the spirit of community solidarity, the spirit of sports to improve health and thereby honor the love of peace and life.

The Festival will also have many programs to attract tourists such as Street Food Festival, cultural and artistic programs... Especially, the art performance night called "Hai Trinh Khat Vong" will have the participation of nearly 700 dancers, actors, and professional artists who will bring to the audience songs about the sea and islands, elaborately staged and modern performances...

According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, from this event, the program aims to build a model of Festival about sea and islands with depth, not only for entertainment but also to bring participants a better understanding of Vietnam's sea and islands. The Organizing Committee hopes that this activity will become a regular, annual cultural exchange event, held in rotation in coastal localities across the country. This is a good opportunity for localities to cooperate to exploit tourism and join hands to contribute to preserving our country's sea and islands.

The Vietnam Sea and Island Festival will be held for 4 days from May 23 to May 26 at Quang Trung Square in the Front Beach area (Vung Tau City). The festival is organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in coordination with the Social Work Fund named after the People's Armed Forces Hero Phan Trong Binh and a number of ministries and branches.

" This is the first time Vung Tau City has organized a large-scale Sea and Island Festival. The organization of the festival program is not only to promote the sea and islands but also to connect 28 coastal provinces and cities across the country, thereby promoting the image of people to be more proud of Vietnam's sea and islands. In addition, Vung Tau City, through the event, will have the opportunity to introduce more unique tourism products so that many tourists can learn more about Vung Tau City - a place with great potential for the marine economy ."
