The Galaxy S25 series will of course come with One UI 7 pre-installed out of the box. In addition, new high-end and mid-range models will also be on the upgrade list, including:
- S Series: S25 (pre-installed), S24, S24 FE, S23, S22, S22 FE, S21, S21 FE
- Z series (folding phones): Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
- A/M/F series (mid-range/low-cost): A06, A05s, A15, A16, A25, A35, A55, A14, A24, A34, A54, A33, A53, A73, M14, F14, M34, M54, F54, M35, M55, F55
However, not all Galaxy phones will be upgraded to the latest version of Android. Older phones like the Galaxy S20 will not be upgraded due to Samsung's limited update policy.
Update timing is also an important factor. The newest, most advanced models will be prioritized to 'upgrade' first. This means that if a user owns a Galaxy S24, they will experience One UI 7 sooner than users of the S23 or other models.
One UI 7 will bring many notable changes, from a refined user interface (separation of notifications and quick settings, Now Bar lock screen, more vivid app icons) to advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features (writing support, call recording...).
