Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tam (in Da Lat) traveled about 90km to admire the unique red leaf tree. "I saw pictures of this red leaf tree last year but did not have a chance to visit. This year, when I heard that the red leaves appeared, I went immediately so as not to miss the most beautiful moment," Ms. Tam said.

According to the female tourist, in reality, the bright red leaves are very impressive. "I exclaimed in surprise. Nature is truly magical. The tree is like a fairy world in a movie," said Ms. Tam.

According to research, this red leaf tree is located on a family's land in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, they built a house and garden for relaxation, not for business purposes. Mr. Dat, the person who looks after and takes care of the garden, said that this is a red leaf myrtle tree, also known as a loi khoai tree, which grows naturally and is 25-30 years old.

Every spring, the tree changes its leaves, producing new red leaves that gradually turn yellow, orange and finally green. The time when the leaves are at their most brilliant and uniform red only lasts about 2 weeks. The time from February 20-27 is expected to be when the tree is at its most beautiful.

The tree has a woody trunk, wide canopy, and bright red bird-tail-shaped leaves. Red-leafed myrtle trees grow individually on the mountains in Bao Lam, but there are not many large trees with wide, bright red canopies like the tree that is causing a stir.

This red-leafed tree became known in 2023, after a few tourists saw it and posted pictures on social media. Many people traveled from far away, hundreds of kilometers to admire it.

Many people want to see the tree and the tree is only beautiful for a short time, so the owner agreed to let Mr. Dat - the gardener, open the door to welcome guests. Visitors can visit and take pictures of the area around the tree.

"Every day, I water the plants and spray pesticides every month. The care is not too complicated. This year, the plants are bright red and more beautiful," said Mr. Dat.

Last weekend, the tree attracted 50-70 visitors per day, and on normal days it receives about 40 visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh visited this red leaf tree on February 17. According to Mr. Vinh, visitors should come early in the morning or in the afternoon to take the most beautiful photos. At noon, the sun is harsh, and photos are easily overexposed. If you come early in the morning, visitors can combine hunting for the sea of clouds.

Mr. Vinh said that tourists can follow Highway 55, near Loc Thanh market, then find the way to Linh Son Zen Monastery. The tree is tall and prominent, tourists can easily recognize it on the way. Tourists should note that the road is quite steep.

The "lonely" pine tree that once attracted tourists to check in at Hai Van Pass has dried up. Located right on Hai Van Pass connecting Da Nang with Hue City, the "lonely" pine tree has become a favorite check-in spot for tourists. However, after Tet, the tree began to lose its leaves and is now dry and dead.
