Ms. Tran Thi Ha - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban town said that the launch of the model aims to enhance the role, responsibility, and positive contribution of religious dignitaries, officials, and followers to environmental protection, response to climate change, and join hands with the town to implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with the model "Bright - green - clean - beautiful residential area".
“The role of religions in participating in environmental protection and responding to climate change needs to be promoted because religions in Vietnam always take people as the center through their operating principles, doctrines, and canon laws to educate followers, expand love, live altruistically, tolerantly, harmoniously, unitedly, and respect nature, protect the environment towards truth - goodness - beauty, in which protecting ecological balance and harmony is protecting one's own life, family and society" - Ms. Ha said.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town called on religious establishments and religious people to voluntarily not litter, to dump garbage on time and in the right place, to clear sewers, and to carry out general cleaning of village roads, alleys, and residential areas every Saturday and Sunday.
Organize daily life and production in an environmentally friendly manner; use renewable energy that has little impact on the environment. Build toilets, bathrooms, and clean water systems to ensure environmental hygiene. Plant and protect trees in residential and public places, religious establishments, etc.
