Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Hong Hai - Deputy Director of the Legal Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, said: In order to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee on the Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy, the Ministry of Information and Communications recognizes the need to pay special attention to the dissemination of policies and laws on the protection of the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, especially for cadres working in foreign information, journalists, reporters and editors.
These are people who play a very important role in disseminating policies and laws through news articles and reports, spreading the message of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands to all classes of people.
Therefore, this conference will help foreign information workers, journalists, reporters, and editors have more information and knowledge about the sea, islands, and oceans to continue to effectively carry out information and propaganda work about the sea, islands, and oceans in the coming time.
