On the morning of May 17, the Party Committee of Quang Loc commune (Quang Xuong) held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the commune (May 19, 1954 - May 19, 2024).
The Executive Committee of the Quang Xuong District Party Committee presented a banner with the words: "Promoting revolutionary traditions; solidarity, innovation, creativity; building a rich and civilized homeland" to the Quang Loc Commune Party Committee.
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed important historical milestones of the Quang Loc Commune Party Committee in 70 years of construction and development.
In May 1954, Quang Loc commune was divided into the following communes: Quang Luu, Quang Thai, Quang Loi, Quang Loc and part of Quang Linh commune. After dividing the commune, in order to ensure the leadership of the Party, Quang Xuong District Party Committee decided to establish the Quang Loc commune Party cell.
On May 19, 1954, at Mr. Nguyen Trong Tiet's house (Trieu Cong village), the District Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to establish a Party cell. The Party cell focused on building movements, gathering forces, developing Party members, continuing to promote production, practicing thrift, eliminating hunger and illiteracy, and fighting internal and external enemies.
Leaders of Quang Xuong district, delegates and a large number of cadres, party members and people attended the celebration.
During the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism and during the period of national construction and defense, Quang Loc had 123 martyrs, 85 wounded soldiers and 43 sick soldiers, 9 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; 1 Hero of the People's Armed Forces; many collectives and individuals were awarded 820 medals of various types and many other rewards.

The country is unified, entering the period of building and defending the Fatherland, the Party Committee and the People of Quang Loc commune have promoted the strength of great solidarity, overcome difficulties and challenges, strived to carry out the cause of industrialization and the program of building new rural areas. In recent years, the socio-economy has developed a lot. The average annual growth rate of production value reached 15%; the total average income per capita by 2023 reached 67 million VND/year.
Quang Loc commune was recognized as a new rural commune in 2016 and achieved advanced new rural standards in 2021. Up to now, 2/3 of the commune's villages have achieved model new rural villages.
Young generation representative expressed his feelings at the celebration.
Over the past 70 years, the Quang Loc Commune Party Committee has grown steadily in both quantity and quality. Currently, the Party Committee has 228 members, operating in 9 affiliated Party cells. The Party Committee has united, led, and mobilized the combined strength of the People to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.
Comrade Nguyen Quoc Tien, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Quang Xuong District Party Committee spoke at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Quoc Tien, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of Quang Xuong District Party Committee, praised and acknowledged the achievements that generations of Party members of the Party Committee and people of Quang Loc commune have achieved over the past 70 years.
To build Quang Loc homeland to continue to innovate in the coming time, he suggested that the Party Executive Committee and the team of commune cadres continue to do well in political and ideological work within the Party and the People, first of all, pay attention to doing well the education of the glorious tradition of the Party to all classes of people, especially the young generations, students. In addition, pay attention to promoting the potential and strengths of the locality to comprehensively develop the economy - society; focus on planning, investing in building infrastructure to improve the quality of new rural areas and urban development...
