On the morning of June 22, a pod of more than 20 dolphins appeared near Son Tra peninsula, dancing out of the water.
Mr. Vo Nguyen Thai Duy, while fishing, recorded this moment and shared it online. The one-minute clip attracted many viewers and comments, with the content saying that this is a "good omen", a signal of a very good water environment.

According to Mr. Duy, this school of dolphins had about 20-30 individuals, of which he recorded 5 dancing on the water surface. "The school of fish danced for a long time, only about 1 km from the shore of Son Tra peninsula," Mr. Duy said.
Mr. Duy said that last year he had seen dolphins twice in Da Nang sea, but they were large individuals weighing several hundred kilograms, with white spots. This time, the dolphins were smaller, black and came close to shore. "This is also the first dolphin group I have seen this year," he added.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, said that the area where Mr. Duy discovered the dolphin was from Mui Sung to Mui Nghe, in Son Tra Peninsula.
"This is the first time dolphins have been recorded swimming happily near Son Tra Peninsula," said Mr. Vu, adding that recently some dolphins that strayed from their school and washed up on Da Nang beach were swum out to sea by rescuers. Injured dolphins will be treated before being released back into the sea.
