Through screening, the entire Dak Glong district has 367 poor and near-poor households in need of housing support, including: 363 newly built households and 4 repaired households, requiring the joint efforts of the community, businesses, and society.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Nam Thuan, Chairman of Dak Glong District People's Committee said: "The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is not only a regular social security task, but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and humanity of the entire political system and the people of all ethnic groups in the district. Caring for housing for poor and near-poor households is a practical step to ensure stable living conditions, help people feel secure in working, developing the economy, and gradually rising out of poverty sustainably."

At the ceremony, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Dak Glong district presented 60 million VND to Mr. K'Bang's family, Ka Nur hamlet, Quang Khe commune, Dak Glong district.
