On the north side of the Song Thu bridge approach road, the "Green Park" project invested by Dai Thang Commune People's Committee has been completed. Located opposite the Commune Martyrs' Cemetery, the park has an area of 1,500m2 with trees to create shade; there are also many outdoor sports equipment for people to relax and exercise. Chairman of Dai Thang Commune People's Committee - Mr. Tran Cong Phung said that the "Green Park" has a total investment of about 1 billion VND from the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. The project was chosen to have a signboard to welcome the 26th Commune Party Congress.
Discussing the preparations for the congress, Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Nguyet - Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Thang Commune shared that Phu An Village Party Cell was chosen to organize a model congress to gain common experience. By December 14, 2024, all 10 subordinate Party Cells had completed the congress (the earliest in Dai Loc).
Regarding the preparation for the 26th Party Congress of the commune, the locality has completed the personnel plan and the draft Political Report. The draft Political Report was submitted to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for review and comments on revisions.
The Party Committee of the commune has determined that propaganda work plays a very important role. Therefore, the locality has directed units, Party cells and socio-political organizations to do a good job of political and ideological work. Promote propaganda and mobilize cadres, Party members and people. Sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune and socio-political organizations organize activities associated with patriotic movements, make achievements to welcome Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and major holidays in 2025.
According to Vo Thi Thuy Nguyet, the official logo of the congress has been approved by the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee. In the coming time, cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports will be organized to celebrate the congress. Villages continue to clean the environment and take care of flower streets. On the occasion of the recent traditional New Year, 5 villages in the area built a "National Flag Street" with a budget of about 200 million VND from contributions from all walks of life. On the occasion of the Party Congress, the flag streets will be edited and supplemented to create a solemn atmosphere and excitement on all roads.
Currently, the Dai Thang Commune Party Committee is waiting for the Dai Loc District Party Committee to review and agree on the schedule for the official congress. In the immediate future, the commune will continue to urgently complete all preparations. The Party Committee will convene 150/220 Party members to attend the congress. The delegates will elect the Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 15 comrades; and elect a delegation to attend the 23rd Dai Loc District Party Congress, consisting of 12 comrades (11 official, 1 alternate).
