Dealers expect Oppo Find N3 to reach sales equal to Galaxy Z5

Oppo Find N breaks Samsung's monopoly in the foldable smartphone market in Vietnam, with 2 generations launched, including Find N2 (launched in March 2023) and the Find N3 duo, Find N3 Flip, which was just introduced at the end of October.

This product line quickly received attention from many technology users. According to Mobile World, after only 1 week of opening pre-orders, Oppo Fin N had 30-50% more registrations than the previous generation from all channels such as website, fanpage and at stores. The number is expected to continue to increase when the product is officially launched for sale.

Among them, the Oppo Find N3 Flip clamshell phone line received more attention, accounting for about 70%; and the Find N3 accounted for about 30%.

N3 Flip competes directly with Galaxy Z Flip5 in Vietnam.

“ With the features, upgrades to the new generation of foldable smartphones and attractive promotions up to 14.5 million VND such as Premium Service worth 2.5 million VND, Oppo Care worth 7 million VND and an additional gift of up to 5 million VND when trading in old for new, 0% interest installment payments..., we expect the sales of this duo to be equal to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 lines ," Ms. Phung Phuong, representative of Mobile World Communications, shared.

Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS system, assessed that the entry of new devices into the market is growing and bringing many new things, although this is only the beginning stage of the trend.

" Opportunities are wide open for all companies that want to join to become number 1. Oppo's products will create competition and diverse choices for phone users ," Mr. Huy emphasized.

With the N2 Flip generation officially sold in Vietnam since the end of March, the system recorded quite good business results, so it is also expected that the new product line will have a large growth rate, contributing to the total sales of the fourth quarter of this year.

According to forecasts from experts and many international market research companies, the number of foldable screen smartphones shipped in 2025 could reach approximately 55 million units, 4 times higher than in 2022. The foldable smartphone market share is also expected to double globally, to 16% in 2025.

Another brand is entering the foldable smartphone market in Vietnam to increase competition and break the monopoly on genuine shelves.

Sharing more about the domestic foldable smartphone market, Ms. Phuong said that sales of this product line in the system have increased 2-3 times each year. The growth is expected to be even stronger in the near future when new devices are increasingly perfected thanks to the competition between Samsung and Oppo.

“ To gain market share, companies must constantly innovate and bring the most complete products at reasonable prices, with promotions and warranties, so in the end, the ones who benefit the most are still the users ,” Ms. Phuong commented.
