From 2024, the University of Commerce will enroll 10 new programs in the fields of business management, e-commerce, and banking and finance.
Of which, 8 programs belong to the group of international career-oriented programs, including Logistics and Import-Export, Business Administration, Hotel Management, Commercial Marketing, Business Accounting, International Trade, Finance - Commercial Banking, and Business Human Resource Management.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Viet, Vice Rector of the University of Commerce, said that these programs were prepared two years ago, based on the school's standard, high-quality programs. The goal is to provide in-depth, internationally-standardized knowledge to learners.
In addition to English courses, more than one-third of these programs are taught in English. Graduates must achieve English level 4/6 according to Vietnam's foreign language framework. Students are also given an additional internship period of at least one year to improve their work skills.
Regarding the enrollment plan, Mr. Viet said the school will apply many methods, but priority will be given to candidates with English certificates.
"The expected enrollment scale is about 80-100 students/program, equivalent to two classes per course," said Mr. Viet.

In addition to 8 international career-oriented programs, the University of Commerce opens two more standard programs, including Banking and Financial Technology (Finance - Banking major) and Digital Business (E-Commerce major).
The school said these programs are aimed at meeting the growing needs of the digital economy. The school has not yet announced the expected enrollment targets and methods for these two programs.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang, Principal of the University of Commerce, said that he will continue to collect opinions on the program framework, output standards, and training methods, thereby perfecting the program before enrolling students from 2024.

Every year, the University of Commerce recruits nearly 5,000 students, using many methods such as considering academic records (for students from specialized schools), using test scores to assess capacity, thinking, graduation exam scores or combining academic records with international certificates. The standard score based on graduation exam scores is usually 25-27 points, or an average of 8.3-9 points per subject.
Tuition fees for the 2023-2024 academic year at the University of Commerce are expected to be 23-25 million VND for the standard program and 31.25 million VND for the high-quality, integrated program.
