
Meeting with voters of Duy Xuyen district were National Assembly deputies: Phan Thai Binh - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Ta Van Ha - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education; Duong Van Phuoc - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
At the conference, delegate Duong Van Phuoc informed voters about the content of the program of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. At this session, the National Assembly is expected to consider and pass 10 draft laws and 3 resolutions; give opinions on 11 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

Voters in Duy Xuyen district expressed their excitement at the country’s recent achievements; however, they were also concerned and worried about the fact that many officials and party members from the central to local levels were continuously disciplined. Voters requested the Party and State to continue to strengthen the fight against corruption, strictly handle violators, and publicize information and progress in handling corruption cases.
Voters also recommended that relevant sectors speed up the construction and repair of degraded and damaged roads and bridges in the area, such as the road leading to the Hon Tau historical site, the old Cau Lau bridge, and Ba Ngan bridge. Pay attention to supporting the regime for former youth volunteers; consider increasing the retirement age and changing the allowance for the elderly from 75 years old instead of 80 years old as at present.

The provincial National Assembly delegation fully received and recorded voters' opinions and recommendations and said it would submit them to the National Assembly at the upcoming 7th Session for issues within its authority.
