On the morning of June 6, at Xuan Thai commune, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates: Nguyen Tien Dung, Secretary of the Nhu Thanh District Party Committee; Mai Nhu Thang, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, had a meeting with voters of Nhu Thanh district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation informed the voters of Nhu Thanh district of the expected content and program of the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; at the same time, briefly reported the socio-economic development situation of the province in the first 5 months, estimated implementation in the first 6 months of 2024; reported the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 17th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Nhu Thanh district expressed their joy and excitement at the results achieved by the province in the first 5 months of 2024. At the same time, they highly appreciated the attention, direction, and close and timely leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee in the socio-economic fields.
In a democratic and frank atmosphere, voters of communes and towns in the district made recommendations to the Provincial People's Council Delegation on a number of issues such as: requesting the Provincial People's Committee, provincial departments, branches and sectors to provide guidance on handling assets that are architectural structures after the State has paid compensation for land acquisition and clearance to implement works and projects; clearly identifying the owners of assets and structures after compensation to arrange funds for demolition (for works that need to be demolished to clear the site) and recovering assets (for assets that still have value such as electricity infrastructure works).

Currently, on provincial road 505B, there are over 3km (from the foot of Gioc Giang to the end of Ba Bai village, Xuan Thai commune) that have seriously degraded, causing frequent accidents. Voters request the Department of Transport to inspect and repair to ensure traffic safety for the people. Also on this road, there are 4 spillways in 4 villages of Dong Coc, Ba Bai, Yen Vinh and Thanh Xuan that are often cut off during the rainy season, not ensuring safety for students and people traveling. The province is requested to have a plan to upgrade.
Voters also requested the Provincial People's Committee to have a policy to support additional funding for some households to move to resettlement areas because the current relocation support amount of 50 to 70 million VND is very low, not ensuring conditions for people to stabilize their lives in the resettlement area. Request the Provincial People's Committee to have a policy to reclaim land from the Nhu Thanh Protective Forest Management Board to hand over to these resettled households so that they have land to cultivate and live in peace.

Voters reported that the power line from transformer station No. 2 in Ba Con village to Yen Lac commune office with a length of 0.65km, was invested in and built by Yen Lac commune People's Committee in 2012 to serve the commune People's Committee office area and some households on this power line, and was handed over to the electricity sector for management in 2014, but has not been renovated or upgraded and is currently seriously degraded. Therefore, voters of Yen Lac commune requested the Provincial People's Council, relevant agencies and sectors to consider and have a plan to survey and upgrade the power line to ensure working and living conditions for some households and the commune People's Committee office.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, delegate Nguyen Tien Dung, Secretary of the Nhu Thanh District Party Committee, explained the opinions and recommendations of voters within his authority; assigned the district's departments and offices to focus on resolving them according to their assigned functions and tasks. For issues beyond his authority, the Provincial People's Council Delegation received and synthesized them to send to the 20th Session of the 18th People's Council for consideration and resolution.
