On May 29, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Van, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Nghi Son Town, said that Hai Ha Secondary School had completed the documents and awarded a certificate of merit to TBL, a 6th grade student of Hai Ha Secondary School.

Hai Ha Secondary School

Student L. completed grade 6 with excellent academic results, but was not able to complete his academic records due to problems with his school age; and has not been awarded a certificate of merit by the school according to regulations.

According to Ms. Van, the Department of Education and Training of Nghi Son Town is requesting Hai Ha Secondary School to conduct a review of the incident, including the school principal's dishonest reporting on the time of organizing the commendation and awarding of certificates of merit to students.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, TBL completed the 6th grade program with excellent academic results, and was commended and awarded a certificate of merit.

However, on May 24, the school held a year-end summary, commended and awarded certificates to students, but L's name was not on the list.

The reason is that L. started studying early (he finished grade 6 at the age of 11, while the regulation requires that he finish grade 6 at the age of 12), but the school did not complete the early study records as required for the student. Therefore, when the program was completed, the records of learning results were not complete, leading to the failure to issue a certificate of merit.
