Da Lat: Promoting progress of key projects

Currently, Da Lat has 5 key city-level projects including: Project to upgrade technical infrastructure around Xuan Huong Lake; Project to invest in building a traffic route connecting from Lu Gia Street to the upstream of Xuan Huong Lake; Project to expand Yersin Park (phase 3); Project to build Tran Quoc Toan Park and Project to build smart city infrastructure.

Among the 5 projects above, the Project to Upgrade the Technical Infrastructure System around Xuan Huong Lake has been completed, with a total cost of 128.8 billion VND.

The Smart City Infrastructure Construction Project has basically completed many items, including the Smart Operation Center (IOC), the Planning Information Portal, professional software, and urban infrastructure management. The city is currently implementing the Smart Public Lighting System (with 100% of the work completed). The city is coordinating with relevant units to speed up the implementation of the Smart Tourism Application "DalatFowerCity".

With the Investment Project to build a traffic route connecting Lu Gia Street to the upstream of Xuan Huong Lake, up to now, the embankment of Sedimentation Lake No. 1 and Cam Ly Stream has been built, and about 496m of road has been paved and completed. The city has also carried out compensation and site clearance for 138 cases with a total cost of more than 113.1 billion VND. 115/138 cases have received compensation and handed over the site; the remaining cases are submitting additional plans and resettlement plans.

Regarding the Yersin Park Expansion Project (phase 3), the city's functional sector said that the site clearance work encountered many difficulties because there was no suitable resettlement land fund. The total number of land plots arranged (phase 1) included 15 residential plots, arranged for resettlement in the Residential Planning - Resettlement Area on Huynh Tan Phat Street, Ward 11. The city has issued 31 land recovery decisions, 32 compensation payment decisions, and has received money from 19/32 households. The project's construction drawing design and estimate have been approved, and the investor has completed the selection of a construction contractor.

Regarding the Tran Quoc Toan Park Construction Project, the investment attraction and implementation have been temporarily suspended according to the direction of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee in Document 4167/UBND-QH dated May 24, 2024 on the construction of urban public parks. The city is reviewing the project development process according to the direction of the provincial functional departments.
