If you have multiple Apple IDs and are having trouble managing them, Apple’s innovation is the solution you’ve been waiting for. This new feature allows you to ‘consolidate’ all your purchases into a single account, making it easier than ever to manage and use.
Previously, transferring content between Apple ID accounts was impossible. Users could only 'get around the rules' by using iCloud Family Sharing, but this method had many limitations and inconveniences.
Now, with a few simple steps on your iPhone or iPad, you can freely move apps, songs, movies, books... between any two accounts. The only condition is that the two accounts must be logged in on the same device and not belong to the same Family Sharing group.
How to do it is very easy:
- Open the Settings app.
- Select Media & Purchases.
- Log in to the sub-account (the account you want to transfer content to).
- Select 'Migrate Purchases' and follow the instructions.
Once completed, all your purchased content will be transferred to your main account quickly and securely.
This feature is now available in most countries except the UK, the European Union and India. This is considered a big step for Apple in perfecting its ecosystem, giving users a more seamless and optimal experience.
