Kinhtedothi - On December 15, Hai Phong City Police, Hai Duong Province held a launching ceremony to carry out a peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes to ensure security and order for the Lunar New Year 2025 and activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
In Hai Phong City, speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Vu Thanh Chuong, Director of the City Police Department, requested the Police of all units and localities to effectively carry out the key tasks: mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and the masses to participate in preventing, fighting and suppressing crimes, ensuring social order and safety. Synchronously and resolutely implementing solutions to strongly suppress all types of crimes, especially drug crimes, gambling crimes, "black credit", crimes that disturb public order, and fraud in cyberspace. Strengthening the activities of the HP-22 force, ensuring absolute safety for New Year's events and early Spring festivals.
Improve the effectiveness of State management measures on security and order; overcome loopholes and shortcomings, prevent criminals from taking advantage of their activities; prevent major fires and explosions, reduce traffic accidents, traffic jams, prevent illegal racing... affecting security and order, serving the people of the city to celebrate Tet happily, healthily and safely. Promote the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Hai Phong City Police force. Ensure logistical and technical conditions for combat work. Actively coordinate with propaganda agencies inside and outside the Industry to promote propaganda work on the situation and results of the fight, attack and suppression of crime by the City Police.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested that, in addition to the efforts of the police force, all levels, sectors and localities need to continue to innovate the content, form and methods of propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on security and order to build a culture and awareness of law compliance; strongly condemn acts of law violation and crime; warn of new methods and tricks of all types of crime, especially fraud and property appropriation crimes... in order to build a disciplined, secure and safe social order for every citizen.
Synchronously combine propaganda forms from "traditional" to "modern" such as: "going to every alley, knocking on every door"; printing and distributing documents, banners, and slogans; increasing the duration and number of radio and television broadcasts; widely posting information on social networking sites, establishing groups and virtual assistants to interact and guide... Steering Committee 138 at all levels, especially at the grassroots level, promotes its role and responsibility in preventing and combating crimes and law violations arising from conflicts among the people.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province believes that with the promotion of the achievements, with the efforts of all levels, sectors, and the entire people, especially the core role of the Hai Duong Provincial Police force, the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year 2025 will achieve outstanding results.
According to the plan, the peak period of attacking, suppressing crime, and ensuring security and order for the Lunar New Year 2025 will take place over a period of 2 months, starting from December 15, 2024 to February 14, 2025.
During the peak period, Hai Duong Provincial Police will mobilize all forces, means, and technical equipment to the maximum extent, synchronously and drastically deploy professional measures; proactively grasp the situation from afar and early on; resolutely attack and suppress all types of crimes in conjunction with maintaining the effective operation of task forces 151 to contain and reduce crimes, not allowing particularly serious crimes, crimes using hot weapons, organized crimes operating in the style of the mafia; prevent, suppress and handle the situation of teenagers gathering, using motorbikes to weave and zigzag; fight, suppress and handle all types of street crimes and other violations of the law.
Absolutely protect the safety of Party and State leaders visiting, working, passing through the locality, targets, key projects, important political, economic, cultural, social, foreign affairs events of the country and locality, international delegations, on the occasion of Christmas, New Year 2025, Lunar New Year and spring festivals.
