Lam Dong police support martyr's family to repair house

The working delegation of the Provincial Police presented 50 million VND to support Mr. K'Dim's family.

This is an activity within the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. K'Dim is the younger brother of martyr K'Mien, an outstanding son of Lam Dong who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation. In 2007, his family received support from the provincial police to build a house of gratitude. However, after many years, the house has deteriorated and become dilapidated, greatly affecting the family's life.

The working delegation of the Provincial Police and local authorities visited Mr. K'Dim's family.

The amount of 50 million VND was taken from the contributions of officers and soldiers of Lam Dong Provincial Police, with the desire to support Mr. K'Dim's family to repair and renovate the house, helping the family have a decent place to live and stabilize their lives. This is a practical action, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", "the rich help the poor" of Lam Dong Provincial Police in the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province in 2025.

At the awarding ceremony, Major Dao Huy Duong, Head of the Political Affairs Department, expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of martyr K'Mien and his family to the revolutionary cause of the nation. At the same time, he emphasized that supporting families of policy beneficiaries and those with revolutionary contributions is the responsibility and sentiment of the officers and soldiers of Lam Dong Provincial Police.

“We hope that with this support, Mr. K'Dim's family will have a new, more spacious house, stabilize their lives and continue to promote the family's revolutionary tradition,” Major Dao Huy Duong shared.

Touched by the care and support of Lam Dong Provincial Police, Mr. K'Dim sent his sincere thanks to the leaders, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police. He said that this support money is a great source of encouragement, helping his family have more motivation to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

“I am very grateful for the attention and help from Lam Dong Provincial Police. This is an extremely valuable gift for my family. I promise to use this money effectively to rebuild the house so that my family can have a better place to live,” Mr. K'Dim expressed.

In addition to supporting Mr. K'Dim's family, Lam Dong Provincial Police have also been implementing many other practical activities to support officers and soldiers of the Police of units and localities; families of policy beneficiaries, those with revolutionary contributions inside and outside the force who are in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, serious illnesses, temporary and dilapidated housing that need attention, help and support for charitable and social activities in the province.

These activities demonstrate the spirit of mutual love and responsibility of Lam Dong Provincial Police towards the community, contributing to building a beautiful image of the People's Police in the hearts of the people.
