According to Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), from June 13, two units of Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant and the Thermal Power Plant were put back into operation after a long period of repair and troubleshooting, adding about 20 million kWh/day to the power system in the North.

This power source has helped ease the tension caused by power shortages in the North in recent days. The updated power outage schedule on June 14 shows that in many localities, the situation of prolonged power outages has been significantly reduced.
Specifically, in Hanoi, many inner-city districts have reduced the number of areas with rotating power outages. In Thanh Xuan District today, only parts of Thanh Xuan Trung, Thanh Xuan Bac and Nhan Chinh wards are included in the power outage plan from 9am to 1pm.
In the suburban districts of Hanoi, many areas still have power outages at different times.
In particular, the temporary power outage schedule in Dong Anh district includes many communes such as Hai Boi, Tien Duong, Nam Hong, Bac Hong, Xuan Canh, Tam Xa, Vinh Ngoc that will lose power from 9am to 1pm. In Soc Son district, the communes of Hong Ky, Nam Son, Bac Son, Tien Duoc, Phu Lo, Mai Dinh, Xuan Giang... are in the plan to have power outage from 9am to 1pm.
In Thach That district, there are more than 10 communes planned to temporarily stop supplying electricity, mainly during the time frame of 3-7 pm, including: Canh Nau, Chang Son, Dai Dong, Cam Yen, Binh Phu, Phu Kim...
Notably, in Thach That District, Thach That Power Company had 8 plans to temporarily cut off power supply in many communes, but on June 14, the planned power outage was postponed. Similarly, in Thanh Oai District, dozens of communes and wards were notified by the power company to "temporarily postpone" power outages today.
Regarding the power outage schedule on June 14 in Thai Nguyen, Thai Nguyen Electricity Company announced on its website 31 plans to temporarily stop supplying electricity. However, compared to previous days, the duration of the rotating power outage in Thai Nguyen has been shorter, generally from 1 - 2 hours. Some areas have longer power outages with time frames from 13:00 to 17:00, the latest from 14:00 to 20:00.
According to Bac Giang Electricity Company, today, the whole province of Bac Giang has more than 200 areas and residential areas with power outages, a significant decrease compared to previous days. In particular, Bac Giang still has many areas with power outages from 6am to 6pm, because the locality is implementing a plan to prioritize daytime power supply for production enterprises and nighttime power supply for daily life.
