This is the opening event for a series of activities introducing Son La specialties at Saigon Co.op's 800 points of sale nationwide, lasting from May 24 to June 1.
This is also the first time Saigon Co.op has connected trade with the Northwestern provinces to bring specialties of these localities to all parts of the country through the system's 800 points of sale.

During the week introducing plums and Son La agricultural products, Saigon Co.op plans to consume 100 tons of plums harvested from raw material areas in Moc Chau and Yen Chau districts.
Son La plums are put into business in a system that meets food safety standards, VietGAP standards, and has a certificate of origin from a competent authority. The price of Son La plums is kept stable by Co.opmart and Co.opXtra, which is good compared to the market.
Co.opmart and Co.opXtra are running promotions to bring plum prices down to only 29,900 VND/kg from May 24 to June 1.

100 tons of Son La plums will be consumed by Co.opmart and Co.opXtra during the festival.
On this occasion, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra also introduced agricultural products and OCOP products of Son La such as: longan, yellow passion fruit, coffee, tea, dried longan, black garlic, cellophane noodles, buffalo meat/dried pork, cham cheo, dried bamboo shoots, lingzhi mushrooms...
Son La plums at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra have stable prices, good compared to the market.
Expanding the supply to the Northwestern provinces helps goods in Saigon Co.op's system become more and more diverse and rich in types, ensuring sustainable supply and competitive prices so that mountain specialties can reach customers more closely.
