The program took place within the framework of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors 2025, bringing together leaders of leading technology corporations in the world and Vietnam such as Nvidia, Meta, Marvell, Google, IBM, AMD, Intel, Qualcomm, TSMC, FPT, Sovico and many other important enterprises.
Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, General Director of CMC Technology Group, spoke at the Program connecting senior leaders in the artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor industry.
As a co-organizer of the International AI and Semiconductor Leadership Connection 2025 program, CMC continues to affirm its pioneering position in promoting international cooperation, connecting leading technology enterprises to develop the AI and semiconductor ecosystem in Vietnam. The event is an important opportunity for domestic enterprises to find partners, expand the market, and contribute to the development strategy of the semiconductor and AI industry according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
At the networking event, Vietnamese and international business leaders and corporations shared in-depth and practical information about resources, development plans and cooperation to promote the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries. Discussions focused on the future of the semiconductor and AI industries, Vietnam’s increasingly important role in the global supply chain, as well as plans and potential cooperation between Vietnamese businesses and international corporations in these two strategic areas.
At the event, Mr. Michael Kagan - Chief Technology Officer of Nvidia Corporation, expressed his joy at participating in the connection program. He commented: "Although Vietnam is not yet famous on the world map for AI, this country has millions of IT engineers, with more than half of them being programmers. If this force is converted to AI, Vietnam can become one of the fastest growing countries in the world."
Previously, at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors (AISC) 2025 held on March 12 in Hanoi, in an interview with Bloomberg Business, Mr. Dang Tung Son, Vice President/Chief Strategy Officer of CMC shared about the data center - Data Center in the context of Vietnam aiming to become the AI data center of the region. He said: "The data center market in Vietnam is forecast to grow 10.8% per year by 2030, reaching a scale of 1.2 billion USD. There are currently more than 33 data centers in Vietnam, of which CMC Data Center is one of the first centers to achieve the Uptime Tier III certificate for Sustainable Operations (TCOS), possessing a full set of 3 certificates of Design, Construction and Operation".
