(Dan Tri) - On the evening of February 3, at August Revolution Square (Hanoi), a special art program celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, and celebrating the country's renewal with the theme "95 years - Light to guide the way" took place.
The program is held to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
The event is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee and the Department of Performing Arts.
In his opening speech, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the program is an opportunity to review the heroic history of the glorious Party, the glorious history of the nation; and to remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and nation.
At the same time, the event also commemorates the Party's senior leaders; the sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.
"The program is a symphony of faith, pride and aspiration to rise up, because a rich and powerful country is not only due to its economic potential but also reflected in its cultural depth and rich identity, which nothing can dissolve," Minister Nguyen Van Hung affirmed.
Inspired by the artistic teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "Culture lights the way for the nation", the program is organized into 3 chapters: Guiding Light, Innovation Light and Era of Light .
Through language and artistic techniques, epic songs about love for the homeland and love for the Party are expressed impressively and emotionally.
The program opened with the scene Dark Night and the report Light in the Dark Night , with images of the days when our nation was immersed in the darkness of oppression and misery.
But it was during those dark years that a torch was lit - the torch of revolutionary ideals, of the guiding light brought by the Communist Party of Vietnam.
That torch is the light in the dark night of history, leading the whole nation out of darkness, opening the path to liberation, independence and freedom.
The memorable milestones of national history have been recounted by artists through songs, such as: Together we go to the red army (Dinh Nhu), Youth go to the frontline (Tran Tien)... These works recreate the boiling atmosphere of the four major uprisings in the three regions.
Along with that, the songs "August 19" (Xuan Oanh) and "Tien Quan Ca" (Van Cao) bring listeners back to the heroic historical period of August 19, 80 years ago, and the moment when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
The audience also enjoyed special performances, such as: Medley of Homeland Melodies and Praise for the Homeland, The Party is my life, The Party Flag performed by People's Artist Quoc Hung, the choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the symphony orchestra...
The works: Vietnamese Hearts, Proud Melody, The Road We Travel , and Red Blood and Yellow Skin recreate the country's achievements after 40 years of renovation, performed by artists Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, and the male and female choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music... also brought many emotions to the audience.
Next, the song " Aspiration to be Vietnamese " performed by artists Duc Phuc, Erik, Rhyder, Captain Boy... made the atmosphere of the program more exciting and youthful.
In addition to performances combining singing, dancing, music, and art commentary, the program also features documentary reports, using 3D mapping technology (a unique idea combining 3D technology and filmmaking technology), screen graphics, etc. to bring a unique artistic experience to the audience.
