(NLDO) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man asked National Assembly deputies, officials, civil servants, and employees of the National Assembly Office to strive to double the achievements of 2024.
On February 3, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with full-time National Assembly deputies at the central level, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the National Assembly Office to mark the beginning of the Lunar New Year 2025.

At the meeting, the National Assembly Chairman congratulated the National Assembly, the National Assembly agencies, the agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) and the National Assembly Office for successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Executive Committee, the National Assembly Party Delegation and the National Assembly.
Appreciating the fact that the agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly have seriously implemented Directive No. 40-CT/TW of the Secretariat on organizing the Lunar New Year 2025, the Chairman of the National Assembly thanked the National Assembly deputies and officials, civil servants and public employees who worked hard before, during and immediately after Tet to prepare for the 9th extraordinary session with a spirit of dedication to the common work.
Regarding the tasks in 2025, the National Assembly Chairman said that the workload is very large, and requested that cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers continue to promote the achievements of 2024, trying to double the achievements of 2024. At the same time, unite, join hands, and do a good job of streamlining the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, after the reorganization, agencies must be highly united and unified. No matter how difficult the work is, all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers must strive to overcome it to complete all targets, tasks, and resolutions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Executive Committee, and the upcoming Resolution of the National Assembly Party Committee.

At the meeting, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung briefly reported on the activities of the National Assembly Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, National Assembly agencies, committees under the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the National Assembly Office before and during the Lunar New Year.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly has thoroughly grasped the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Committees of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, and the agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to strictly implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW of the Secretariat, Directive No. 45/CT-TTg and Directive No. 46/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.
At the same time, well implement social security policies, care for the material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, policy families, people in difficult circumstances, poor households and cases in need of help...
The visits and New Year greetings by the National Assembly Chairman and Vice Chairmen were thoughtful, safe, economical, effective and appropriate to the actual situation. National Assembly agencies and agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee actively and urgently implemented programs and work plans for 2025 to ensure progress; strictly carried out the assigned Tet duty to promptly handle arising work.
Also during the Tet holiday, the agencies actively synthesized opinions from the Government, agencies of the National Assembly, and the National Assembly Delegation, studied plans to revise and perfect draft laws and resolutions that had been preliminarily reviewed, and continued to coordinate with the drafting agencies to contribute ideas to revise a number of draft documents.
Along with that, receive documents of other draft resolutions sent by the Government during the Tet holiday and organize research to organize work with agencies right on the first working days of the new year.
According to Mr. Le Quang Tung, before, during the Lunar New Year holiday, the National Assembly Office focused on preparing for the 42nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly; in which, it reported to the Politburo for approval on organizing the session and sent a document convening the session right before the Tet holiday.
