According to the plan, the 17th City Party Congress is expected to take place in October 2025. This will be an important political event of Hue city this year.

At the meeting, the representative of the City Party Committee Office reported on the draft plan for organizing and serving the congress. The plan specifically assigned tasks for welcoming and serving delegates; preparing badges; decorating and arranging the hall to serve the congress; ensuring security, safety, and protecting the congress; propaganda plan for the congress, etc.

Commenting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh said that the plan should be divided into specific groups of tasks. There should be a completion time frame so that service teams can base on that time to complete on schedule.

According to Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong, the service teams must be responsible for developing specific and detailed content and plans for the teams; at the next meeting, the teams must have a preliminary report on the implementation content. Relevant units must strengthen close coordination, carry out work promptly, and ensure overall progress.

At the meeting, some delegates suggested that the service teams should assign specific tasks to implement the plan; soon agree to add a specific time frame to prepare for the congress to avoid being passive later. For example, with the congress venue, it is required to have appropriate adjustments and repairs, so there should be a plan and time soon.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien requested the City Party Committee Office to absorb the delegates' opinions and finalize the plan before February 17 in the spirit of clear people and clear work.

Regarding the specific content, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien requested that the plan clearly state the expected time for the congress. The congress venue must be agreed to be the Huong River Theater. The propaganda and promotion work, including visual promotion, must be solemn and serious. There is not much time left for the congress, so the relevant service teams should, according to their responsibilities and tasks, take the initiative in their work and prepare best for the congress.
