Vinh Phuc 75 years of development with the country

Exactly 75 years ago (February 12, 1950), Vinh Phuc province was established. The glorious tradition through 75 years of construction and development of the province is the luggage and motivation for each Vinh Phuc citizen today to constantly strive and try to continue writing the glorious history of the homeland, together with the whole country, firmly entering the new era, the era of national growth.

Vinh Phuc province was established on February 12, 1950 on the basis of the merger between Vinh Yen province and Phuc Yen province. On January 26, 1968, implementing the policy of the Central Government, Vinh Phuc province merged with Phu Tho province to form Vinh Phu province.

After 29 years of merging with Phu Tho province, Vinh Phuc province was re-established on January 1, 1997. In the midst of the province's difficulties in the early days of re-establishment when the economy was mainly agricultural and infrastructure was poor, following the innovative thinking and proactive overcoming of difficulties of previous generations, Vinh Phuc effectively implemented the Party's innovation policy, renewed its vision, focused on attracting investment, developing industry, considering industry as the foundation of the province's development strategy.

Vinh Phuc has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors with key enterprises carrying international brands, making important contributions to the province's budget revenue such as Honda Vietnam Company, Toyota Vietnam Company, Piaggio Vietnam Company, and at the same time attracting many FDI enterprises to invest, contributing to creating a dynamic Vinh Phuc, leading in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Vinh Phuc has focused on mobilizing, exploiting and effectively using resources to build urban and rural infrastructure; focusing on developing and improving the quality of services and tourism; enhancing the improvement of the investment environment; focusing on ensuring social security and improving people's lives.

Vinh Phuc focuses on leading and directing the comprehensive, synchronous, drastic, focused implementation of all aspects of Party building work, continuing to innovate the Party's leadership methods, promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and political organizations, strengthening State management in all fields; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations at all levels.

In particular, the immediate key tasks are to successfully implement the goals of the 17th Provincial Party Congress resolution; direct the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; lead and direct the implementation of the arrangement and streamlining of the organization and apparatus of the political system; focus on solutions to achieve double-digit economic growth in 2025.

The great mindset and aspirations of a land rich in cultural traditions, the origin of innovative and creative thinking and the glorious tradition through 75 years of construction and development of the province are important provisions for Vinh Phuc to firmly step into the new era, the era of national growth.
