Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new school year, Ms. Pham Thu Ha - Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Ngo Si Lien Secondary School said that, established in 1920, after 104 years of construction and development, the school has always excellently completed its assigned tasks. Ngo Si Lien Secondary School has many outstanding achievements in the work of excellent students and the work of entrance exams for grade 10 high school. In particular, the work of training excellent students always holds the top position in the district and the top of the city. Number of students winning prizes at district, city and national levels: 220 prizes in the 2022-2023 school year; 437 prizes in the 2023-2024 school year.

The results of the 10th grade entrance exam continue to affirm the leading position of Hoan Kiem district and the city in terms of exam scores of the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in Hanoi.

In the 2024-2025 school year, teachers and students of Ngo Si Lien Secondary School will compete in teaching and learning towards the 105th anniversary of the school's founding.
