On the occasion of the New Year of At Ty 2025, on the morning of January 29 (the first day of Tet), President Luong Cuong visited and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at House 67, President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site in the Presidential Palace.
Accompanying the President were Party Central Committee member, Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai, along with the President's assistants and representatives of the Office of the President.
In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the first day of the new year, President Luong Cuong lit incense sticks, respectfully commemorating the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, who devoted his whole life to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
Before the spirit of the great President Ho Chi Minh, President Luong Cuong vows to continue to strive with the entire Party and people, promoting the strength of great national unity and the aspiration for development to bring the country into a new era - an era of striving for development, wealth and prosperity.
Next, President Luong Cuong visited Uncle Ho's fish pond in the grounds of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site. During his lifetime, every day after work in the afternoon, Uncle Ho would go to the pond to clap his hands and release food for the fish to eat. Although he has been away for many years, memories of his simple lifestyle by the garden and fish pond, his morality and love still spread throughout the country.
The President also visited the exhibition area of three cars used by President Ho Chi Minh from 1954 to 1969, which were recently recognized as National Treasures by the Prime Minister in the last days of 2024. This event marks a special milestone when for the first time after 55 years of preserving and promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's legacy, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is honored to have an artifact recognized as a National Treasure.
Wishing a Happy New Year and having a friendly talk with the officials and staff of the Relic Site, the President suggested that in the new year, the Relic Site should continue to promote its important role, wholeheartedly and with all its might preserve the precious documents and artifacts of President Ho Chi Minh, so that they become invaluable spiritual assets for today's and future generations, so that the Relic Site will always be a sacred "red address", a place to convey the historical values, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh not only to the Vietnamese people but also to friends around the world.
President Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful symbol of Vietnamese patriotism and revolutionary heroism. He is the shining crystallization of morality, intelligence, spirit and conscience of the nation and the era. He devoted his whole life to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party, our nation, our people and international friends.
More than half a century has passed, but his legacy still exists deeply in the space of the special national relic - President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace. The relics, documents and artifacts here are the most vivid and authentic evidence, reflecting his life, career, ideology, morality and style.
