Proactive measures to cope with the cold

At the same time, localities implement measures to ensure safety for people, especially the elderly, children, and students, limit outdoor activities in cold weather, absolutely do not use honeycomb coal to warm up in closed rooms to avoid unfortunate incidents that cause human casualties. Strengthen propaganda, instruct livestock households to clean, strengthen barns, cover and keep warm, proactively store food, ensure prevention of hunger and cold, and prepare plans to move free-range livestock to pens. Proactively cover, cover, strengthen care measures, cover tree roots with plant debris, water, fertilize, and keep moist for rice, vegetable and other crop production.

For aquaculture, proactively maintain the water level of aquaculture ponds, ensure a depth of 1.5 - 2m to keep the water temperature stable, pull the cages to a sheltered place, provide adequate quantity and quality of food to ensure resistance. Organize inspections, guide and urge the work of preventing and fighting cold for people, livestock and crops, guide the application of technical measures combined with people's experience suitable to the weather conditions of each locality to avoid damage.
