Finalize the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule

This year, the Ministry of Education and Training has released two exam schedules, for candidates taking the exam under the new general education program and the 2006 general education program. The reason for the two exam schedules is that, besides the first candidates graduating from high school under the new program, there are still candidates studying under the old program who need to take the graduation exam to be considered for recognition of high school graduation or to get points for university admission.

2025 is the year when the first batch of students following the new general education program will take the high school graduation exam. Candidates will take the exam in 4 subjects instead of 6 as before. The two compulsory subjects are Math and Literature; the two optional subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economics and Law Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages ​​(English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean). This is the first time that Information Technology and Technology (Industry, Agriculture) have become graduation exams.

With the number of exams and the way to choose this subject, candidates have 36 combinations to choose from.
