Italy's ancient road La Via Appia becomes World Heritage

(CLO) At the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee held from July 21-31 in New Delhi, India, La Via Appia, a symbol of ancient Rome, was officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This is Italy's 60th World Heritage Site, continuing to affirm the country's position as the country with the most World Heritage Sites.
