Nearly 120 thousand tourists come to Hue on the occasion of Lunar New Year

During the Lunar New Year 2025, the number of visitors to Hue is estimated at more than 118,600, with tourism revenue estimated at 178 billion VND.

On February 1, information from the Hue City Department of Tourism said that from January 25 to 31, the number of visitors to the locality was estimated at 118,614, an increase of 35% over the same period.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at 60,170, up 33% over the same period; domestic visitors are estimated at 58,444, up 36% over the same period. Tourism revenue is estimated at 178 billion VND, up 33% over the same period.

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, during the 7-day Tet holiday, Hue City welcomed about 50,930 overnight guests, up 35% over the same period. Of which, international visitors were estimated at 28,552, up 34% over the same period; domestic visitors were estimated at 22,378, up 36% over the same period.

According to the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, during the 3 days of the Lunar New Year 2025, Hue relic sites welcomed about 57,534 visitors, with revenue reaching more than 4.2 billion VND.
